Matt Krog - Managing Director
Matt Krog is a highly respected corporate, commercial and sports lawyer with more than a decade of experience advising athletes, sporting organisations, commercial entities and employers. As the founder of Aus Sports Law and Aus Law Advisers, he works across the business of sport and the broader corporate and commercial space, offering strategic legal and business solutions shaped by years of hands-on experience.

Matt’s expertise spans corporate structuring, commercial transactions, employment matters, intellectual property and regulatory compliance. Alongside his work in sport, he has spent a significant part of his career advising businesses across a range of industries on governance, commercial agreements, investment structures and risk management. His ability to merge strong commercial insight with deep knowledge of the sports sector makes him a trusted adviser to athletes, founders, businesses, sporting organisations and investors navigating complex legal frameworks.

Matt’s journey to law came after a spinal injury prevented him from playing contact sport while a member of the Brisbane Broncos’ Elite Player Development program in 2009. His drive to perform at a high level has carried through his legal career, reflected in recognition as:
